STOP AB 1955:PROTECT OUR CHILDREN!!

Emergency AB 1955 Press Conference

Some of you may have seen that the California Senate Appropriations Committee jammed through AB 1955 Monday (watch hearing), bypassing the normal suspense file and sending this bill straight to the Senate floor. That means this horrible bill could be voted on by the full Senate as early as this Thursday June 13.

I know it is very short notice but tomorrow your all invited to join on the west steps of the Capitol Thursday June 13, at 8 AM as California Family Council will host a press conference to speak out against this bill, answer media questions, and “correct the record“. 

Emergency: Call-in campaign for the next two days 

AB 1955, the bill strips away the constitutional rights of parents, banning parental notification policies. If passed, it will make it illegal for schools to inform parents about their child's social transition. With constitutional rights being stripped, the California Department of Justice believes that the bill “is likely to be challenged and potentially enjoined” in court and the costs of that litigation could be significant to taxpayers.
