As a Republican running in San Francisco, we achieved something monumental. Just two years ago, the general election featured two Democratic candidates with no Republican representation on the ballot.

During a crisis, we rely on our government to put politics aside and focus on saving lives and helping those who are in need. Natural disasters do not discriminate, so neither should the agencies responsible for aiding recovery.

While some of the results did not turn out as we hoped, I am nothing short of humbled by the hard work we had accomplished together. Prop 36 passed with a clear majority, meaning we have secured a major win for safety and crime in our State.

Today is Election Day, and the polls are open! If you haven’t already done so, please go out and vote for real change in California.

We know that California residents want a safer and more affordable future, and we can make that vision a reality when we vote to retire Scott Wiener and his dangerous policies once and for all.

We have the opportunity to retire Scott Wiener’s failed agenda and restore public safety for our neighborhoods across San Francisco. But to do that, we must get out and vote on Election Day.

Decades of reckless policies by Scott Wiener have pushed our economy and safety to the edge, and harmful regulations pushed by him helped to scare away businesses and families out of our communities.

This upcoming election gives us the opportunity to make real change for California. We must choose to restore common sense and public safety, but to do that we need to say “No” to misguided policies and “Yes” to keep our neighborhoods safe.

My campaign has identified enough movable Democrat and Non-Party Preference voters to defeat Scott Wiener. We just need more funding to target these voters.
