I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you who stood by my side throughout my campaign for California State Senate, District 11.

Every door knocked and every phone call made was an expression of our dedication to restoring public safety and creating a future of common sense leadership that benefits us all.

While some of the results did not turn out as we hoped, I am nothing short of humbled by the hard work we had accomplished together. Prop 36 passed with a clear majority, meaning we have secured a major win for safety and crime in our State.

To everyone who volunteered, donated, and supported this campaign: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your belief in our vision for a better San Francisco kept me inspired every day and gave our movement strength and purpose.

I may not be serving as your next State Senator, but my commitment to fighting for our values and our community shall never waver.

Let’s stay connected, stay engaged, and continue pushing forward for the real change our communities still need to live a safer and more prosperous life.
