Exposing Government Waste In San Francisco

A recent report by OpenTheBooks uncovered egregious mismanagement by the nonprofit organization HomeRise, which has misled a staggering $240 million of taxpayer money. This organization, entrusted with public funds to address homelessness in our city, has been careless and irresponsible with taxpayer dollars.
The report reveals alarming findings, including the misuse of funds for fundraising, staff bonuses, and even staff lunches and gifts. It's appalling to see taxpayer money being squandered in such a manner, especially when so many in our community desperately need support.
