The $20B housing bond failed to address the real crisis—affordability.

I’m excited to share some good news: the $20 billion housing bond, backed by Scott Wiener, has been pulled from the ballot. This is a significant victory for neighborhoods and residents across the Bay Area!

This outcome validates what many of us already knew: the proposal was fundamentally  flawed and would have failed to address the real affordable housing shortage.

San Francisco and the greater Bay Area remain some of the most expensive real estate markets in the country. This bond would have only created vacant, unaffordable market-rate and luxury units while increasing property taxes on Californians.

Instead of imposing additional taxes on residents, we need policies that create genuine, lasting affordability. I stand with Neighborhoods United SF (NUSF) in supporting common-sense ideas that prioritize affordable housing and protect our historic neighborhoods.

As your State Senate candidate, I’m committed to:

  • Focusing on affordability, not just more market-rate units.

  • Supporting community-led planning that values local voices.

  • Rejecting failed proposals that don’t solve the real housing shortage.

Please consider donating to my campaign today to help us keep pushing for the right changes.

With your support, we can continue to stand against Scott Wiener’s failed agenda and work toward housing solutions that actually benefit our communities.

Thank you for standing with me in this fight. Please help me increase our campaign’s visibility and expand my message by sharing this email.

Sincerely,
